Minors' Policy
What kind of restrictions apply for minors?
The minor must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, and they have to be present while the piercing is being done. The parent or guardian must have a state or government-issued photo ID.
Valid and acceptable ID types include a driver’s license, a passport, a Real ID, a military ID, a state or federally issued ID.
The minor must have a copy of their birth certificate with them; if the minor has a learner's permit, driver's license, passport, or other government-issued ID, that will be acceptable. If the parent has a different name than the one on the birth certificate due to a life situation, they need to have it updated by the state health department before we can accept it.
If accompanied by a guardian, they must have the appropriate, court-issued, legal paperwork with them.
